Additional disclosures to be made under SEBI’s revised Corporate Governance Report

The recommendations made by the Committee on Corporate Governance under the Chairmanship of Uday Kotak were incorporated by SEBI as amendments to the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. In keeping with these amendments, SEBI released a new format for compliance report on corporate governance to be submitted by listed companies to stock exchanges. The revised formats include disclosures to be made on quarterly basis, annual basis for the whole of financial year and within six months from end of financial year. This will be applicable for reports submitted from the quarter ended 30 September 2019.
